PONTA DO OURA - MOZAMBIQUE

This is where Pastor Ernesto Miambo has been pastoring the Ponta do Oura Baptist Church for the past 31 years, and also serving the Baptist Churches in this region, of which he was a principal church planter, and is now their Missions Developer.

We thank God for his faithful ministry over many years.

Sadly, however, both he and Marianne, his wife, are very sick. Ernest needs further spinal surgery, which will need to take place in SA. Marianne, obviously traumatised by these developments, which have deteriorated considerably over the past year, is suffering from dangerously high blood pressure, which doctors are struggling to stabilise.

THIS IS A PLEA TO THE HUNDREDS OF SHORT-TERM MISSIONARIES FROM MANY PARTS OF THE WORLD WHO HAVE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF MINISTERING ALONGSIDE THE MIAMBOS OVER THE PAST YEARS TO:

FIRSTLY: Pray for God's gracious and miraculous healing touch in their lives through whatever means He wishes to use.

SECONDLY: Should God prompt you, please consider contributing to their medical expenses, which are considerable.
